You know.. The question is.. What is beauty? What is beauty and how do we measure it? Nice info. The media is pressuring people to be thin because its beautiful, but beauty can mean anything so we do not know what beauty is in our eyes. That girl over there can be ugly to others but she can be beautiful to you. The beauty of a woman is how her figure is. Beauty can be anything and that is a confusing thing. Everyone is beautiful in their own way.

And a beautiful little poem. I agree about models and superstars being too thin. TV is the largest promoter of that. My husband thinks I'm beautiful. I'm nearly 5' 8" and weigh 135 lbs. today. That is not thin. But, he's prejudiced. : ) The worst thing about all the airbrushed magazines and 'movie makeup' is that some not very intelligent men buy into it and expect their women to look like that.

I always thought that the Barbie conformation was wrong, if you calculate right, she should be around 7, yes 7 feet tall, berk. I will live longer than she even tho she ain't real , I'm 5'00" and 100lbs, my blood pressure is lower than normal, so I'll be fine since the arterial tension increases as we grow older. She has ugly-gay boyfriends anyway.
